Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Surveyor/Project Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role combines technical surveying expertise with project leadership to deliver accurate land surveying, mapping, and geospatial solutions.

The candidate will help lead the Survey team, manage field staff, and ensure quality deliverables across projects while coordinating with clients and stakeholders. A State Survey license or ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of survey experience in both field and office.
• Proficiency in CAD and surveying software; ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to coordinate with staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership with planning and production of deliverables for land surveying projects.
• Oversee staff for project assignments; supervise field work.
• Coordinate field work scope, data reduction, and final survey deliverables.
• Prepare and review drafting/CAD products, maps, and written descriptions.
• Assist in scheduling, budgeting, and progress reports; draft change orders.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets and deadlines; assist in invoicing and collections.
• Use reports, maps, and plans to assess project needs and approach.
