Job summary

KLJ seeks a seasoned Professional Land Surveyor to lead survey operations for multi‑site projects. You will provide technical oversight for capturing, modeling, and interpreting spatial data to guide engineering design and decision‑making.

As a trusted expert, you’ll collaborate with project managers, clients, and cross‑disciplinary teams to deliver precise results that meet industry standards and support KLJ's infrastructure goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in surveying or GIS with licensure required.
• 5–7 years of post‑education surveying experience, including easements and boundary work.
• Proficiency with survey equipment, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
• Experience coordinating field and office work on multi-site projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review surveys, reports, and field investigations for project research.
• Research legal records and resolve boundary issues in accordance with laws.
• Prepare maps, plats, and legal descriptions; ensure QA/QC of deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, and team members across projects.
