Job summary

Ulteig Engineers seeks a Senior Land Surveyor with multiple PLS licenses to lead projects and field crews across transportation and municipal markets. The role emphasizes self-starting technical leadership, strong communication, and resource management to drive project success.

You will mentor staff, contribute to business development, and manage survey scope within contracts. Willingness to travel up to 50% and permanent US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• PLS license in one or more of the following states: Texas, Wyoming, Kansas, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, North Dakota or Minnesota.
• Must be authorized to work in the US permanently.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• Experience leading survey teams and coordinating field crews.
• Strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manages and leads survey activities during proposal, design, and construction stages.
• Oversees survey scope, change orders, and project schedules to meet contracts.
• Maintains quality and responsiveness to client requirements and company standards.
• Directs survey team members and reviews project documents, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Provides leadership in safety, risk management, and project delivery.
