Job summary

Det-Tronics is seeking an Engineering Change Control Manager to lead engineering changes through PLM, coordinating with Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Compliance to ensure accurate change orders and minimized delays.

The successful candidate will drive best practices, manage documentation, and act as a PLM SME across functions, ensuring efficient, compliant change processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or Associate degree with 10+ years experience.
• Min 3 years' experience with engineering changes in new or sustaining projects.
• Min 5 years experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Min 2 years experience with a PLM system.

Responsibilities

• Pre-screen and handshake Design- and Engineering Changes with cross-functional team.
• Conduct impact analyses and coordinate actions with internal stakeholders.
• Create part numbers, assembly numbers, and BOM structure in PLM.
• Leverage change management tools to plan rollout for projects.
• Chair the Operations Change Control Board for timely implementation.
• Support New Product Introduction and Sustaining Engineering in change contexts.
• Prioritize and manage work requests in a timely manner.
• Be SME on change control process and PLM; coordinate IT maintenance.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
