Actalent in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Engineering Systems Administration Manager to lead change control within our PLM environment and manage BOMs, ECOs, and part/assembly numbers across software, electronics, and mechanical components.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4+ years experience managing systems engineering changes.
• 5+ years Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Project proficiency.
• 2+ years with PLM/ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, coordinate, and process engineering change requests and change orders in the PLM system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for change requests and orders.
• Evaluate system changes to ensure seamless introduction into operations.
• Conduct impact analyses on proposed changes, assessing feasibility, risk, and impact.
• Assess change readiness across stakeholders and identify required actions.
• Prepare, communicate, and follow up with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
• Create part numbers, assembly numbers, and BOMs in the PLM system.
• Manage change controls for BOMs covering software, electronics, mechanical, and systems components.
• Apply change management methodologies to support rollout of changes.
• Delegate activities to stakeholders to ensure timely implementation.
• Serve as SME on PLM and change control processes, coordinating with IT.
• Demonstrate NPI and sustaining engineering knowledge as it relates to configuration and change management.
• Support design assurance and compliance activities by ensuring changes meet standards.
