Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a PLC Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, program, and improve PLC-based automation systems in a manufacturing environment. You will support production by reducing downtime and ensuring safe, efficient operation of automated equipment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing failures from ladder logic and diagrams, performing PLC programming, and documenting changes while collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Formal electrical, PLC, controls or automation training/certification is preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, electrical systems and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and modify PLC-controlled equipment and HMIs.
• Diagnose failures by reading ladder logic, schematics and manuals.
• Perform PLC programming, backups, and system documentation.
• Support installation, startup, commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities.
