Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking a Senior Engineer, Platform & Site Reliability to own the Kubernetes foundation on AWS, drive CI/CD, and build platform tooling.

You will work across multiple regions to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-native platforms, leveraging ArgoCD, Crossplane, Istio, and modern observability. Java and React development are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in related field.
• 5+ years in site reliability, platform, DevOps, or software engineering.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and cloud-native tech in production (AWS-focused).

Responsibilities

• Provisions and operates EKS clusters across regions with high availability.
• Implement GitOps and infrastructure as code using Crossplane and ArgoCD.
• Manage Istio service mesh, canary rollouts, and traffic management.
• Design monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and OpenTelemetry.
