Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Senior Software Reliability Engineer to join the Platform Reliability Engineering team. You’ll ensure resilience, performance, and security of our enterprise Cloud Platform, mentoring engineers and leading incident triage and root cause analysis.

You’ll drive no-repeat resolutions through blameless postmortems, automate toil, and establish SLOs to support customer-facing workloads on scalable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 3+ years in reliability or related engineering domain.
• Experience with ITIL processes and production systems.
• Experience with AI tooling to reduce MTTR/MTTD.
• Proficient in scripting languages (BASH, Python, TypeScript, Java) and data formats (YAML, JSON).
• Strong knowledge of SLOs and reliability principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP) and security tooling.
