Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer to independently develop, maintain, and support our production infrastructure across hybrid environments.

As part of Developer Operations Platform Engineering, you will implement GitOps with ArgoCD and Flux, manage OpenShift/Kubernetes, and ensure observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Fluentbit. A bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in systems engineering are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 4+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in container platforms and cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support production infrastructure.
• Lead design reviews and drive platform automation and GitOps workflows.
• Ensure observability and incident post-mortems across environments.
