Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Reliability Engineering to design, build, and maintain automated monitoring, enterprise workloads, and proactive reliability systems for critical retail and supply chain operations.

You will lead initiatives to reduce toil, migrate legacy systems to script-based platforms, and create centralized health dashboards while guiding onboarding standards with development teams.

Qualifications

• Must be legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering, SRE, DevOps, or system automation experience.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering, SRE, DevOps, or system automation experience in an enterprise environment.

• Delivery and execution: Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software with clear value; build test suites and enable rapid production deployment.
• Learns and grows: Continuously learn from experiments and seek growth through formal and informal channels.
• Plans and aligns: Collaborate in agile processes; ensure user stories are valuable, developer-ready, and testable; communicate across audiences.
• Supports and enables: Mentor junior engineers on modern automation scripting and workflow scheduling.
