Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP seeks a Platform Product Owner II to maximize platform value across the organization. You will lead platform vision, lifecycle, governance, and adoption while mentoring peers and aligning with executive strategy.

Responsibilities include defining roadmaps, translating needs into epics, and guiding cross-functional delivery with vendors and internal teams. Strong Agile and analytics skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in product ownership, product management, or platform management.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and driving adoption.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Lean, and backlog management.
• Experience with lifecycle management, requirements, testing, and release planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform strategy, vision, and roadmap with executive stakeholders.
• Define adoption metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Own full platform lifecycle: evaluate, implement, enhance, release, retire.
• Gather requirements and translate them into epics, features, and stories.
• Develop functional specs, acceptance criteria, and wireframes.
• Prioritize work by value, risk, effort, dependencies, and capacity.
• Govern platform templates, reusable assets, and standards.
• Scope custom development and integration with vendors/teams.
• Lead cross-functional delivery across internal teams and contractors.
• Manage vendor relationships, renewals, and escalations.
• Coordinate upgrades, releases, testing, and communications.
• Oversee testing activities: regression, UAT, performance, security.
• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Data Governance teams.
• Maintain platform documentation and governance procedures.
• Mentor junior product owners and promote Agile/Lean.
