Job summary

USP is seeking a Salesforce Product Owner to drive the strategic direction of our Salesforce platform. You will bridge business needs with technical teams, shaping the product roadmap, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring measurable business outcomes and high user adoption.

The role reports to the Director of Digital Experience Platform and Associate Director of Customer Experience - India, requiring strategic thinking and hands-on Salesforce management in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in CRM product ownership or program management, specifically with Salesforce.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies with agile and Jira.
• Experience working in life sciences or other regulated enterprise environments is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in US hours.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the strategic vision and roadmap for the Salesforce platform in alignment with enterprise goals and the USP360 program.
• Translate business requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on business impact, customer value, and cross-regional needs.
• Serve as a platform evangelist, educating internal teams on Salesforce capabilities and fostering a user-centric culture.
• Lead strategic project governance with IT PM to identify risks and ensure timelines align with goals.
• Champion strategic alignment across business units by ensuring a shared understanding of scope and value.
• Co-lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Act as a strategic partner to global leaders, improving stakeholder engagement across time zones.
