Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Senior Platform Product Manager to own two core platform areas: our API gateway and observability platform. You will drive end-to-end product strategy, define roadmaps, and partner with engineering to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure at scale.

You will set multi-quarter visions, balance technical health with customer commitments, and craft requirements that resonate with technical and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in cloud platform infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of API concepts including latency, rate limiting, and response codes.
• Experience with Datadog or comparable observability tooling.
• Ability to set product vision and strategy and communicate it credibly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent prioritization judgment in ambiguous, highly technical areas.
• Strong written communication: specs and strategy docs for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Set a clear product vision for platform areas and translate it into multi-quarter roadmaps.
• Partner with engineering leaders to shape priorities and unblock delivery.
• Balance client commitments, commercial opportunity, technical health, security needs, and unplanned demand.
• Define measurable outcomes and use them to guide prioritization.
• Write crisp requirements and strategy documents that scale across engineering and leadership.
• Maintain a healthy Jira backlog and communicate progress.
