Gusto is seeking a senior, project-driven professional to design and stand up new reconciliation and control infrastructure across multiple products and entities. You will own cross‑functional projects, partner with Engineering, Product, Accounting, and Finance, and mentor analysts while building reusable AI workflows that scale the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4–6 years in financial services, banking, fintech, payments, or accounting operations.
• Experience scaling reconciliation or processes to new products, entities, or geographies and leading cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, stand up, and scale reconciliation and control infrastructure across products and entities.
• Lead audit remediation workstreams and partner with external auditors and internal Accounting and Controls.
• Own cross-functional projects, define success metrics, and drive to resolution with senior stakeholders.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to spec, build, and measure systems and tooling for reconciliation and loss detection at scale.
• Build reusable AI workflows and mentor analysts to adopt durable automations.
