The role combines hands-on coding with strategic planning and mentoring of engineers. Responsibilities include migrating from a Ruby-on-Rails monolith to services, evaluating external partners, and driving AI-native architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience in financial infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale production systems and architecture.
• Proven ability to drive multi-quarter architectural initiatives.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and shaping technical strategy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Technical Lead across multiple pods in the Money Group.
• Define technical vision for domain areas and own short-term projects.
• Lead service migration from monolith to service-oriented architecture.
• Mentor engineers and drive architecture coherence across the group.
