SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst (Starlink Platform Integrity) to detect, disrupt, and investigate potential misuse while safeguarding customer privacy. You will balance enforcement with responsible handling of sensitive information in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

The role focuses on proactively identifying platform abuse risks, developing detection strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure legal and compliance obligations are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations; OR 6+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations in lieu of a degree.
• 4+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), geospatial tools (e.g., ArcGIS), and/or statistical software (e.g., R).
• 4+ years of experience investigating, mitigating, or dealing with illicit operators (e.g., fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, or other illicit activities).

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and assess platform integrity and abuse risks.
• Develop technical detection and mitigation strategies.
• React to investigate potential issues such as scams, fraud, and illicit activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and deepen our relationships with them.
• Conduct periodic reviews to support legal and compliance obligations.
• Execute with consideration for customer privacy, targeting activities of indisputable harm and avoiding overreach.
