Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst for the Starlink Platform Integrity team in Redmond, WA. You will identify abuse risks, develop detection strategies, and investigate potential misuse while protecting customer privacy.

This role requires collaboration across teams to ensure compliant, secure service operations. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in investigations or cybersecurity, strong data querying skills, and experience with OSINT techniques in a high‑stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations; OR 6+ years in lieu of a degree.
• 4+ years of experience with data querying languages (SQL), scripting languages (Python), geospatial tools (ArcGIS), and/or statistical software (R).
• 4+ years of experience investigating, mitigating, or dealing with illicit operators (fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, or other illicit activities).

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and assess platform integrity and abuse risks.
• Develop technical detection and mitigation strategies.
• React to investigate potential issues such as scams, fraud, and illicit goods/activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and deepen our relationships with them.
• Conduct periodic reviews to support legal and compliance obligations.
• Execute with consideration for customer privacy, aiming at harmful activities while avoiding overreach.
