Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA seeks a Sr. Business Analyst for Starlink Platform Integrity to detect and disrupt misuse while safeguarding customer privacy. You will develop detection strategies, investigate scams and fraud, and work with cross-functional teams to strengthen safeguards.

The role requires onsite presence in Redmond, 15% travel, and a focus on legal/compliance alignment with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 4+ years in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations.
• 4+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting (e.g., Python), geospatial tools (e.g., ArcGIS) and/or statistics (e.g., R).
• 4+ years of experience investigating illicit operators (fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and assess platform integrity and abuse risks.
• Develop technical detection and mitigation strategies.
• React to investigate issues such as scams, fraud, and illicit activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and deepen relationships.
• Conduct periodic reviews to support legal and compliance obligations.
• Balance customer privacy with enforcement actions.
