Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Platform Engineering /DevOps to lead enterprise-scale cloud platforms. You will guide multi-team delivery, own the H100 platform roadmap, and ensure secure, scalable operations with strong SRE discipline.

You bring hands-on engineering depth, leadership, and a track record in cloud-native platforms, GitOps, and CI/CD excellence. This role demands cross-functional collaboration and strategic delivery across streams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering or SRE.
• 4+ years of leadership, guiding mid-sized teams.
• Deep technical foundation in GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps.
• 4+ years in Agile delivery, incident management, cross-team coordination.
• 1+ year of AI-driven operations or automation frameworks.
• 3+ years in cloud networking, VPCs, load balancing and secure communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute platform engineering roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities.
• Drive delivery of GCP-based platform capabilities (GKE, networking, IAM, CI/CD, observability).
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, ADR compliance, security and governance.
• Lead incident response and runbooks, ensure platform reliability and on-call readiness.
• Mentor engineers, manage contractors, and drive continuous improvement.
