Simplesense is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer, Security to join its hybrid, US-based team. The role focuses on automating, hardening, and deploying security tooling across hybrid IT/OT environments, bridging IaC and enterprise security requirements.

You will drive implementation, configuration automation, and remediation for core security capabilities. The ideal candidate brings automation-first mindset, strong identity and access experience, and the ability to navigate regulated

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in platform engineering, security, and automation (5–10 years).
• Hands-on deployment and tuning of enterprise security tooling.
• Experience with IaC across hybrid environments and APIs for config automation.

Responsibilities

• Codify security baselines into automated configuration playbooks.
• Build, maintain, and scale automated IaC deployments.
• Automate user provisioning and access via APIs and IaC.
• Embed security tooling into CI/CD pipelines for early remediation.
• Implement and harden cloud network security and Zero Trust controls.
• Maintain secure package management proxies and repos.
• Write reusable infrastructure code and integrations (70% hands-on).
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security into core pipelines.
