Job summary

TalentBurst, an Inc 5000 company, is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to bridge security strategy with technical implementation in a remote setting. The role requires delivering automations for security technologies and codifying vCISO directives across client platforms.

You will collaborate with the vCISO, translate policies into configurations, and ensure consistent security practices across infrastructure while supporting Platform Engineering and identity services.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in NGFW, SASE/SSE, EDR and identity services.
• Strong background in security automation and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
• Ability to translate high‑level security policies into technical implementations.
• Experience in platform engineering or DevSecOps environments.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across security and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automations for security technologies across the client environment (NGFW, SASE/SSE, EDR).
• Translate security policies into platform-specific configurations and code in collaboration with the vCISO.
• Ensure security policies are consistently applied across all client infrastructure.
• Support Platform Engineering in integrating security best practices into automation workflows.
• Provide expertise in identity services and emerging security technologies.
