Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join a team engineering Privileged Access Management (PAM) products in a cloud-first environment. You will work across Kubernetes, AWS services, and modern tooling to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure.

You will mentor junior engineers, perform design reviews, and help scale services for enterprise customers while embracing innovative AI-assisted development workflows and a fast weekly release cadence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of backend programming experience with Go, Java, or C++.
• Strong experience deploying and optimizing cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI pair-programmers to accelerate PAM product development.
• Design, develop and deliver cloud-based infrastructure projects on a modern tech stack.
• Lead design and code reviews to ensure scalable, multi-tenant systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize services and frameworks owned by the team.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
