Job summary

Humana is seeking a Sr Full Stack Software Engineer to build scalable applications using Java, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, and C#. The role is remote but requires residing in selected US metro areas. You will work across frontend and backend domains, design REST APIs, and implement cloud-based, microservice architectures.

You will collaborate with Agile teams, write automated tests, and help shape technical direction across projects, while maintaining modern dev standards and documentation.

Qualifications

• / Must have Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
• / 4+ years' experience in Python programming.
• / 4+ years' experience in software engineering.
• / 2+ years' experience in Angular/React/Vue.js.
• / 2+ years' experience in Java or Node.js.
• / 1+ year of cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• / 1+ year building micro frontends/microservices.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of developers in frontend, distributed microservices, and full stack systems.
• Collaborate across Agile teams to design, develop, test, and support full-stack solutions.
• Work with cloud-native stack on Azure/AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and REST APIs.
• Write automated tests to ensure correctness, responsiveness, and performance.
• Provide technical direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages.
• Maintain modern development standards and best-practice processes.
