Job summary

SitusAMC seeks an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and implement scalable AWS environments using Terraform and modern IaC. You will lead CI/CD automation with GitOps tools like FluxCD and ArgoCD, and collaborate across teams to align infrastructure with security, resilience, and performance goals.

You will also automate patching, upgrades, and operational tasks while advancing our cloud strategy with Kubernetes, Istio/Linkerd, and autoscaling solutions like Karpenter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years IaC experience with Terraform or similar.
• 6+ years building CI/CD pipelines with GitOps (FluxCD, ArgoCD) and automation tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on Kubernetes, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), and auto-scaling (Karpenter).
• Strong scripting/programming background (Python, Shell).
• AWS services including EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, IAM, and security rules.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, cost-efficient AWS environments using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Develop enterprise solutions in AWS with security-first mindset for resilience and performance.
• Drive release automation through CI/CD pipelines (GitOps, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Automate patching, upgrades, and upkeep of IaC and pipelines to stay healthy and compliant.
• Collaborate with external customers and internal teams to align infrastructure with business needs.
• Champion automation of AWS infrastructure across the organization to minimize manual effort.
• Contribute to cloud strategy innovations and improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
