Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead OpenShift and MuleSoft operations on the CAEIO program. You will deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized apps, integrate APIs, and automate with Ansible in a remote-capable role that may require onsite training in Sterling, VA.

The role demands extensive OpenShift expertise, API experience, and strong collaboration across engineering, cybersecurity, and development teams. Flexible on-call rotations and production support are expected.

Qualifications

• OpenShift enterprise-grade cluster administration
• MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API deployment on OpenShift
• Jenkins CI/CD pipeline design and automation scripting
• Ansible/Ansible Automation Platform for infra and app automation
• OpenShift security practices: RBAC, SCCs, network policies, secrets

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day operational support for CA Applications Support environment
• Deploy, manage, troubleshoot containerized apps using Red Hat OpenShift
• Support and maintain MuleSoft APIs and integration services
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible/AAP
• Configure and support Service Mesh for microservices traffic, security, observability
