Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in a software engineering role.
• DoD IAT II Certification or eligibility.
• 4+ years with container orchestration platforms like OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm.
• Experience with VMs, AWS, Ansible, Python, and containerized environments.
• Experience in troubleshooting complex OS and networks in RHEL.

Responsibilities

• Participate in AGILE software development and integration environment.
• Assist with trouble tickets and ensure resolution.
• Integrate applications into container-based services.
• Write well designed, testable code meeting requirements.
• Troubleshoot code defects and deploy fixes.
• Document code using government CM tools.
• Deploy, install, and troubleshoot software at Fleet/Navy facilities.
• Lead design, development, and integration of infrastructure service software.
• Mentor junior team members and lead a subset of engineering tasks.
• Travel to CONUS/OCONUS as required (~4 weeks/year).
