Job summary

You will train teams, manage OpenShift deployments, and contribute to design, development, and integration of mission‑critical services for naval and fleet environments; travel approx 2 weeks/year. This role requires US citizenship, security clearance, and strong Linux, Python, Ansible

Qualifications

• BSCS or related field required.
• 6+ years in software engineering with OpenShift/Kubernetes experience.
• Active US security clearance (Interim SECRET or higher) required.
• Security+/DOD IAT Level II certification required.
• Experience with containerized apps, CI/CD, and patching.
• Familiarity with Python, Ansible, and RHEL environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be a US citizen per contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Train development teams on OpenShift deployment and container apps.
• Manage container platform installation, upgrade, patching, and monitoring.
• Contribute to design, development, and integration of infrastructure services.
• Develop, test, and deploy software across the lifecycle using Agile/SCRUM.
• Troubleshoot defects and deploy timely fixes.
• Document code and configurations using government CM tools.
• Support deployments at Fleet and Navy test facilities and travel as needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver on time.
