Job summary

Epsilon C5I in San Diego, CA seeks a Senior Software Engineer II to help design, develop, and integrate mission-critical software on a Platform as a Service. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and advance containerized services that support data mediation and machine-to-machine messaging.

The role requires at least eight years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of software engineering experience.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance or eligibility required.
• Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker/Helm and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an AGILE software development and integration environment.
• Assist with trouble tickets and issue tracking (Confluence, JIRA).
• Integrate multi-functional applications into container-based support services.
• Write well designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Mentor junior team members and lead a subset of the engineering team.
• Travel up to 10% to CONUS/OCONUS facilities as needed.
