Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience as a technical lead on multi-engineer, multi-quarter projects.
• Strong backend systems and APIs for cloud-based web apps; React frontend + Python backend on Postgres.
• Design scalable architectures for horizontal systems across teams.
• Ability to mentor engineers and raise quality standards.
• Interest in life sciences; biotech knowledge helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical authority for Lab Notebook and Enterprise Lifecycle teams.
• Architect and implement solutions across backend models, APIs, and frontend UI.
• Lead multi-quarter initiatives with clear technical plans and milestones.
• Guide technical decisions, balance debt, and preserve long-term flexibility.
