Job summary

ByLabs is hiring a senior backend/platform engineer to build and operate the Financial Cloud developer platform. You will implement CI/CD pipelines, GitOps automation, artifact management, and a dependency graph engine to enable 50-100 versioned modules to be independently built and deployed across global sites.

You will work with the Platform Architect to translate blueprints into production systems used daily by hundreds of engineers, focusing on reliability, security, and scalable tooling.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in backend/platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Go (primary) or Java/Kotlin with Python scripting.
• Production experience with CI/CD pipeline development (GitHub Actions, Tekton, Jenkins).
• Hands-on with GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, Flux) at scale (10+ clusters/environments).
• Experience with Kubernetes: operators, CRDs, Helm chart development.

Responsibilities

• Build module-level CI/CD pipelines from commit to versioned artifacts.
• Implement build provenance automation and SLSA attestation generation.
• Develop the dependency graph database for impact analysis.
• Build change impact analysis tools for PRs and selective test orchestration.
• Implement GitOps deployment engine with ArgoCD/Flux and canary promotions.
• Build site provisioning tooling and version management console.
• Implement security patch pipelines across repos.
• Build four-layer test orchestrator for parallel, scalable testing.
