Job summary

SecureBio is hiring a LIMS Platform Lead in Cambridge, MA to own design, architecture, and operation of lab informatics systems that track every sample from intake to data handoff. You will harmonize data across 50+ sources, ensure traceability, and drive platform usability for scientists.

Qualifications

• 3+ years implementing or owning LIMS/ELN systems in biology labs.
• Benchling configuration including entity schemas, inventory, notebooks and templates.
• Translate science and workflows into robust data models.

Responsibilities

• Manage and harmonize lab data across sample processing, molecular and NGS workflows with robust tracking.
• Own the Benchling platform and drive data-model design in collaboration with the computational team.
• Configure inventory, storage, barcoding, and integration with automation equipment.
• Build and maintain integrations across platforms and AWS; ensure clean handoffs to analytics pipelines.
• Enhance user experience for lab scientists with intuitive interfaces and end-to-end traceability.
• Provide on-demand visibility into sample status, turnaround time, and pipeline efficiency.
• Define requirements and roadmap; prioritize requests and flag risks early.
