Job summary

Raft, a U.S.-based defense tech company, is seeking a Platform Engineer with active TS/SCI clearance to automate and orchestrate our critical infrastructure in San Diego, CA. You will design and maintain IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes-based platforms to support national security programs.

This role requires strong GitOps experience, a systems engineering mindset, and excellent communication. You will collaborate with cybersecurity, software development, and operations teams to deploy

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain SCI access.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 10 years of experience; or Master’s with 5 years; or 15+ years experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with automation using Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IaC and automation solutions using Ansible and GitOps.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for enterprise deployments.
• Develop automation to deploy and manage Kubernetes-based apps and services.
• Support onboarding of applications through development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Develop and maintain GitOps workflows for lifecycle management and platform deployments.
