Job summary

Danfoss Climate Solutions is seeking a Senior Engineer, Platform Engineering to shape and evolve our Kubernetes-based platform used by engineering teams across the segment. You will enable faster development with secure, scalable self-service capabilities.

You will collaborate with development and cloud specialists to design robust CI/CD, GitOps workflows, and cloud-native tooling on Azure and GCP, driving reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes experience across Azure AKS and/or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Knowledge of GitOps principles, ArgoCD, and CI/CD workflows in modern cloud-native environments.
• Experience with GitHub and automation tools like GitHub Actions or equivalents.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in an agile environment.
• Good communication and collaboration across technical teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with Backstage, Terraform, Helm; SRE practices are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Kubernetes-based platform on Azure and GCP for scalability, security and reliability.
• Build and improve GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and GitHub to enable efficient CI/CD and IaC practices.
• Develop self-service platform capabilities to simplify deployment and improve developer experience.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate needs into scalable platform solutions.
• Monitor and improve platform performance, reliability and automation-driven efficiency.
• Promote platform adoption through documentation and knowledge sharing.
