Job summary
CSX Corporation in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a senior Platform/ Middleware Automation Engineer who designs, develops, and supports scalable automation for middleware workloads. You will champion configuration-as-code, platform standardization, and GitOps practices using Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible, Helm, and API Gateway technologies to improve reliability and security.
You will collaborate with application, network, security, and operations teams to deliver repeatable, secure deployment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
- 5+ years in middleware/DevOps/platform engineering.
- 3+ years with Kubernetes or OpenShift and Ansible automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain reusable automation for middleware provisioning and deployment.
- Develop Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, templates, and workflows.
- Deploy and support middleware workloads on Kubernetes/OpenShift including namespaces, deployments, services, routes, and storage.
- Create Helm charts and Argo CD configurations for GitOps deployments.
- Integrate middleware automation with CI/CD and GitOps using GitHub, Jenkins, and Argo CD.
- Build IaC patterns that are secure and reusable across environments.
- Collaborate with cross-team to translate requirements into automated solutions.
- Implement automated health checks, monitoring, alerts, and remediation.
