Job summary

Waypoint Human Capital is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for an on-site role in Dayton, OH. You will design, implement, and optimize a Kubernetes-based platform using Helm, Argo CD, GitLab, and Harbor, with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and reliability.

You will automate deployments with IaC, CI/CD, and collaborate with NASIC leadership and product teams to drive platform improvements. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and a hands-on, results-oriented engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Kubernetes platform solutions using Helm, Argo CD, GitLab, Harbor.
• Automate processes with IaC, CI/CD, and reduce technical debt where possible.
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of platform deployments.
• Monitor platform health; maintain high availability with Grafana and log aggregation.
• Collaborate with development teams to gather requirements for platform improvements.
• Advise NASIC leadership and product owners on progress and technical direction.
