Job summary

CSX is seeking a senior Platform/Automation Engineer to design and support automation for middleware platforms and services. You will work with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible, API Gateway technologies, and GitOps tools to deliver scalable, secure, and repeatable solutions.

Lead platform standardization and self-service initiatives while collaborating with application, cloud, network, cybersecurity, and production support teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of middleware engineering, systems engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, infrastructure automation, or related roles.
• 3+ years hands-on Kubernetes/OpenShift and Ansible automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain reusable automation solutions for middleware provisioning, configuration, deployment, patching, upgrades, validation, and operations.
• Develop Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, templates, and workflows to standardize middleware lifecycle management.
• Deploy, configure, and support middleware workloads on Kubernetes/OpenShift including namespaces, deployments, services, routes/ingress, secrets, storage, and resource policies.
• Create Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and Argo CD configurations for GitOps-based deployments.
• Integrate middleware automation with CI/CD and GitOps workflows using GitHub, Jenkins, and Argo CD.
