Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience across backend and full-stack surfaces.
• Own architectural decisions on complex production systems used by multiple teams.
• Proficient in Python or demonstrated backend depth in Python-based interviews.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native systems; GCP preferred.
• Experience with relational data modeling and schema evolution in production systems.
• Strong product instincts and focus on useful, correct, and elegant solutions.
• Able to engage in customer and problem discovery and translate learning into technical plans.
• Self-directed and communicative with proactive problem articulation.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of the platform across identity, tenancy, and developer experience.
• Stay hands-on: write production code and lead design reviews with end-to-end ownership.
• Design for extension and reuse with well-defined interfaces for product teams.
• Design scalable, reliable system interactions balancing speed, security, and performance.
• Translate ambiguity into executable plans with clear scoping and trade-offs.
• Raise engineering standards through patterns, reviews, and tooling with AI support.
• Mentor and grow engineers and share knowledge across teams.
