Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team. You will build and ship capabilities across the Ping platform, spanning infrastructure, databases, APIs, models, and UI experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building production services or distributed systems.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs, RESTful services, and data models.
• Experience with authentication, authorisation, and identity management.
• Ability to turn requirements into designs and production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IAM capabilities across the Ping platform from infrastructure to UI.
• Design and implement APIs, models, workflows, and services.
• Research and prototype solutions with senior technical leaders to turn ideas into features.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering to refine features for scalable outcomes.
• Participate in design, coding, testing, rollout, and production support.
• Use AI tooling to accelerate research, code understanding, prototyping, and documentation with good engineering judgment.
• Communicate clearly, share knowledge, and support other engineers through reviews and discussions.
• Thrive in a rapidly changing environment and adapt to evolving customer needs.
