Job summary

Ping Identity in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Platform Engineering team to turn ideas into scalable production capabilities across IAM, APIs, models, and AI tooling. You will work in a fast-paced, global environment to deliver secure, seamless digital experiences.

The ideal candidate brings strong software development experience, experience with distributed systems, API design, and identity management, and a passion for research, experimentation, and cross‑functional

Qualifications

Experience building production services or distributed systems.
Experience designing APIs, RESTful services, and data models.
Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into designs and prototypes.
Experience with authentication and identity management.
Strong communication and collaboration across time zones.
Familiarity with AI tooling in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

Deliver IAM capabilities across the Ping platform from infra to UI.
Design and implement APIs, models, workflows, and services.
Prototype solutions with senior leads to turn ideas into features.
Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering to refine features.
Participate in design, coding, testing, rollout, and production support.
Use AI tooling like Claude Code to accelerate research and coding while maintaining judgment.
Share knowledge and mentor other engineers through reviews.
