Pearson is modernizing its content platform with a hands-on principal engineer who designs target systems and leads large-scale migrations. You will own multiple technology tracks, build shared capabilities, and ensure security and stability while coaching engineers across teams.

You will work across Java/Spring Boot, Node.js/TypeScript, React, and cloud services on AWS, with emphasis on scalable architectures and data integrity. Strong leadership and technical communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years building and operating production software.
• Led re-platforming or legacy migrations with active users and data.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Production experience on AWS, with observability and CI/CD practices.

Aufgaben

• Own the technical plan and delivery for multiple tracks from design to launch.
• Lead migrations of large content and data volumes with integrity guarantees.
• Build shared capabilities exposed via clean APIs across teams.
• Act as technical multiplier: review designs, mentor engineers, and drive best practices.
