Job summary

Mastercard Inc. is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to maintain high-availability production systems in a public cloud. You’ll work with Jenkins, Ansible, Argo CD, Terraform, and Kubernetes to automate deployments and improve security and reliability across environments.

You will build tooling in Go, Python, or Bash, collaborate with engineering teams, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure uptime and performance.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Linux/UNIX experience and production systems exposure.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, and Bash programming.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tooling.
• Experience deploying containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, Mesos, or Docker Swarm).

Responsibilities

• Build, scale and support high-availability production systems in a cloud environment.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and related tools.
• Improve security and availability monitoring across services.
• Deploy workloads across AWS/Azure/GCP and manage DNS/IAM/Databases as needed.
• Develop tools to automate deployment and system integration.
