Job summary

RxSense seeks a Principal Platform Engineer to lead the greenfield cloud platform. You will write Terraform and Helm, shape CI/CD, harden EKS, and set standards across engineering. You’ll partner with AI, data, and security teams to ensure scalable, observable pipelines from day one.

You will own infrastructure as code, build production-grade deployments, and drive cost efficiency while enabling rapid delivery across services and environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production platform infrastructure.
• Hands-on Kubernetes end-to-end, with EKS preferred.
• Infrastructure as code in Terraform at scale.
• Experience building/owning CI/CD systems with immutability.
• Experience running self-hosted GitHub Actions runners.
• Cloud: IAM, VPC, DNS, Secrets, registries, compute.
• Helm at scale with shared libraries and per-env config.
• Observability: logging, metrics, tracing, OpenTelemetry.
• Security: least privilege, secrets hygiene, PHI/PII handling.
• Backend language: Python, Go, or .NET; shell fluency.

Responsibilities

• Build infrastructure as code foundation with Terraform monorepo.
• Operate EKS production clusters and ensure hardening.
• Develop a self-hosted GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline.
• Maintain Helm charts and per-service deployment templates.
• Harden security posture and enforce least-privilege access.
• Manage cloud cost tagging, right-sizing, and spend control.
• Embed observability with structured logging and metrics.
• Define platform standards and document deployment rules.
• Collaborate with application, data, and AI teams on needs.
