Job summary

RxSense is building a cloud-native platform to power its next-generation healthcare technology stack. We seek a Principal Platform Engineer to lead the technical build, shaping Terraform, Helm, CI/CD, and security standards.

This hands-on role embeds with AI/Data teams to ensure production readiness and scalable, auditable platform practices. You will own infrastructure as code, run production Kubernetes on EKS, and drive cost-aware, observable pipelines with strong emphasis on security,

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production platform infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform at scale, multi-environment state management.
• Experience owning CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Argo, Jenkins).
• Hands-on AWS expertise: IAM, VPC, secrets management, registries, compute.
• Proven experience with Helm at scale and shared chart libraries.
• Ability to write and ship production code in a backend language (e.g., Python, Go, C#/.NET).

Responsibilities

• Build the infrastructure as code foundation with a Terraform monorepo across dev, QA, staging, and production.
• Operate EKS clusters end to end: lifecycle, autoscaling, ingress, identity, secrets and hardening.
• Own the deploy pipeline with self-hosted GitHub Actions runners and artifact immutability.
• Maintain a shared Helm chart library and per-service charts for reliable production deployments.
• Harden security posture with least-privilege IAM, secrets hygiene, network boundaries, and image provenance.
• Manage cloud spend through tagging, right-sizing, and cost governance.
• Build observability via structured logging, metrics, tracing, and cross-service correlation.
• Set platform standards and documentation; mentor engineers on deployment and platform thinking.
• Collaborate with application, data, and AI teams to fit platform contracts and promotion paths.
• 8+ years in this domain; strong written and spoken communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Requirements for HIPAA/SOC2-type audits and data-regulated environments.
