Job summary

Credit One Bank seeks a senior Platform Engineer to build, automate, and maintain Platform Services for product development and data analytics initiatives. You will provision Kubernetes-based infrastructure, implement IaC, and integrate security/compliance into the platform across on‑prem and cloud environments.

The role requires 7+ years in advanced technical roles, strong automation tooling experience (Ansible, Terraform), and expertise with Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift/EKS/GKE).

Qualifications

• BS Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• 7+ years in advanced technical roles.
• Strong experience with configuration management, automation, and orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
• Strong experience building and maintaining Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift, EKS, GKE).
• Familiarity with AWS products (EC2, S3, EKS).
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Understanding of GitOps and Git workflows.
• Experience writing YAML and JSON.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Dynatrace, SolarWinds).

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and maintain Platform Services like Elastic/OpenSearch, Hazelcast, Vault, Sonatype.
• Provision infrastructure including Kubernetes clusters, servers, networking, storage, and cloud.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling using IT automation tools.
• Monitor system performance for security, reliability, and performance.
• Integrate security/compliance with encryption and access management.
• Document configurations and processes for cross-team use.
• Deploy infrastructure as code and applications with automation in on‑prem and cloud.
• Create and track designs at high and detailed levels with issue resolution.
• Research emerging technologies and propose changes.
