Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead and support the platform's availability, resilience, and scalability. You will collaborate with Architecture and Software Engineering teams to ensure seamless operation of services and adoption of cutting-edge technologies.

You will manage Google Workspace for the organization, provide user support, and contribute to documentation and training materials while driving automation and best practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 4 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory).
• At least 1 year of experience administering Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Manage Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Meet, etc.) for our organization
• Provide prompt and effective technical support to users, troubleshooting issues and answering questions
• Monitor system performance, security, and data integrity, taking proactive measures to address potential problems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Workspace features and best practices, implementing updates and improvements as needed
• Develop and maintain clear documentation and training materials for users
• Lead the availability, resilience and scalability of the platform
• Collaborate with the Software Engineers to ensure software works seamlessly on the platforms
