Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer for the OCI Developer Platform in the United States. You will design and deliver deployment capabilities across cloud environments, focusing on scalability, security, and reliability.

You will collaborate with product managers, architects, and security engineers to drive platform initiatives from design through operation, shaping a greenfield deployment experience for developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience delivering production-quality distributed systems.
• Strong programming in Java, Go, C++, C#, Python, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and operate core services and APIs for a modern application deployment platform on OCI.
• Deliver resilient, scalable deployment workflows for diverse environments and architectures.
• Partner with product, security, SRE, and developer teams to turn platform needs into designs and quality software.
• Build safety and reliability into the product with isolation, auditability, and robust failure handling.
• Develop platform primitives for AI- and agent-assisted workflows with appropriate controls.
