Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software development experience with complex distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C++, C#, Python or similar.
• Leadership at Senior Principal level; ability to influence executives and align multiple teams.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native systems, containers, orchestration, CI/CD, automation, and release engineering.

Responsibilities

• Set long-term architecture, strategy, and investment direction for core services and APIs powering OCI’s deployment platform.
• Lead multi-year platform initiatives delivering scalable deployment workflows and reusable primitives.
• Create alignment across organizations and senior stakeholders to define platform strategy and execution roadmaps.
• Define and champion safety and reliability standards including isolation, policy, observability, and recoverability.
• Shape OCI’s approach to AI- and agent-assisted engineering with scalable governance and safeguards.
• Identify high-leverage opportunities using operational data and customer needs.
