Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced leader to drive the design and evolution of its software and information platforms. You will own platform stability, define standards, and work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable cloud architectures.

The role emphasizes mentoring engineers, breaking complex work into actionable tasks, and delivering robust platform solutions across GCP, Databricks, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on GCP experience with Compute Engine, IAM and APIs.
• Experience maintaining the Databricks platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and enhancement of core software and information platforms.
• Provide platform metrics and proactively identify patterns to improve stability.
• Break down complex initiatives into small, actionable work items.
• Troubleshoot complex platform and cloud issues; perform root cause analysis.
• Establish platform standards, best practices, and governance across cloud architectures.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to translate requirements into robust designs.
• Mentor and guide engineers with architectural insights and code reviews.
