Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced Software & Information Platforms leader to drive the design, development, and operation of core platform solutions across cloud environments.

You will mentor engineers, establish standards, and partner with Application Development, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to deliver robust platform designs and reusable components. This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on cloud experience.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in IT or software Platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and enhancement of core software and information platforms.
• Provide platform metrics and identify patterns to improve stability.
• Break down complex initiatives into small actionable items.
• Troubleshoot platform and cloud issues; perform root-cause analysis.
• Establish platform standards and governance across cloud architectures.
• Collaborate with teams to translate requirements into robust designs.
• Mentor engineers with architectural insights and code reviews.
