Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a senior Software & Information Platforms professional to lead the design, development, and enhancement of core platform services. The role focuses on improving platform stability, breaking down complex initiatives, and delivering robust architectural solutions across cloud environments.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years of experience, hands-on GCP expertise (Compute Engine, IAM, APIs), and experience maintaining Databricks platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of core software & information platforms.
• Provide platform metrics and proactively identify patterns to improve platform stability.
• Break down complex initiatives into small, actionable work items.
• Troubleshoot complex platform and cloud issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive long-term stability and performance improvements.
• Establish platform standards, best practices, and governance across cloud architectures, integrations, and application frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust platform designs and reusable components.
• Mentor engineers across teams with architectural insights and code reviews.
